Hello! We were able to swing a last minute trip (only here is 4 months out last minute) in October to attend MNSSHP. We will be at the party on Friday the 13th. We only have 2 days that could be park days, Friday and Saturday. I'm not sure whether we should plan on MK the entire day of the party or go somewhere else. I'm not sure how we will work it with costumes, if we are doing them or just some form of disneybounding. We have never done food and wine either but I'm not sure my 6 year left would really enjoy that all that much. We are planning on AK on Saturday. We are staying at BWV. Any insights? If it makes any difference we just got back from a 9 day stay at WDW and we will be back next summer as well so we don't feel the need to really do it all. My husband and I want to celebrate our birthdays and surprise our daughter with the party.

I would maybe focus on resting up for the party, sleeping in, pool time, etc, then going gangbusters on the party so you can stay out til late without too many meltdowns.

Or you could also do some resort hopping, grab a nice brunch at character restaurant?

Not a bad idea. We've never stayed at that area before and it would be fun to explore.

We're coming down the same weekend!
We're doing two parties - Friday and Sunday. We're doing Mickey's Backyard BBQ and the Sleepy Hollow event Saturday night at Fort Widerness.
I'm leaving our mornings pretty open for pool time. Have some character meals booked.
And Sunday before the party planning to go to HS for Minnie's seasonal Halloween dine at H&V (We have APs, otherwise I wouldn't consider going into a park for just a couple hours on a one day ticket)

What is the sleepy hollow event?
