MNSSHP and LTT? Is my ressie to late??

Hi everyone
I finally got a ressie at 7:15 the night of the halloween party, I could not get in anywhere in MK or around there that night and just happened to try again and they had something open at LTT, so I was thrilled, however, I am wondering if that is too late and does anyone think we will miss much of MNSSHP??? Any tips/advice would be great.

I would scrap it or try for earlier as it gets closer. There is so much going on you dont want to waste 1- 1&1/2 hours eating there.

MNSSHP is so cool and fun, it will kill you and the child to have to eat and miss some. We do a 4:50 at the Plaza or CS before 6pm that night. You dont want to miss a thing. We made the mistake once, we had a 6:30 ADR, were seated at 6:50 and gave up leaving without dessert at 8pm. It was killing DD to be in there when the party was going on.

The trick or treating starts at 7pm, there is the cool photo ops, etc. I wouldnt waste party time eating.

I know others might disagree but I spent ALOT of extra money for the tickets and I would rather be playing in the park.

I usually don't make any ADRs for later than 6:00 if I have party tickets. It usually takes about an hour to eat, so I don't like to eat (pardon the pun) into my party time with a late seating for dinner. I would actually prefer to just grab counter service in that case.

Maybe make a ts reservation for lunch and use a cs for dinner if you're on the dining plan? Just a thought

They also often run late and you do not want to miss the headless horseman or the parade start!

Yes, definitely too late. IMHO it would be a waste of the extra money you paid for the tickets by spending time eating. Even though your ADR is 7:15, you never know if you'll have a wait or be seated on time.

You can enter the park at 4pm on your party ticket. You can grab a bite to eat at counter service locations well before the party events start. I agree with everyone else here that you would regret it if you kept that ADR.

We have an ADR for CP right at 4pm, cause I want to be done eating before the party starts. We were told we'd be able to get in a few minutes early for our ADR as long as we show our ressie number at the entrance . I would definately try for an earlier time so you don't miss anything!

We called last night and also got a reservation for LTT at 7:00, Sept. 19th, for 7. We were very thrilled too!!!

We ate LTT last year for MNSSHP and the characters were fabulous, the interaction with the character's and customers was so much fun. Our favorite's were Dale and Pluto, Dale kept trying to tie Pluto's tail to our chair. It was quite funny.

I just found my program from last year and it states that the parade's were at 8:15 and 10:30, so hopefully that will remain the same and that might give us/you a little extra time, but the bad thing is that it starts in FrontierLand not on Main Street. Since it's starting at Frontierland that might only give us/you an extra 10 minutes before it reaches LTT, maybe you might have enough time to still eat our/your dinner and catch the Headless Horseman, if not there is another parade at 10:30, but we too will have a 4 year old with us and he might be to tired to wait for the next parade.
