MNSSHP and ADR- HELP

We have a ADR for 6:40 (BOG) and we do NOT have party tickets. I had no idea this would be a party date, and judging by hours it looks like it will be. Will they give us a problem?

They won't give you a problem to stay and dine, but you will more than likely be escorted by a CM out of the restaurant and out of the park if you don't have a ticket to the special event.

BOG should close at 7, but I'm sure they won't be hurrying you to finish eating or anything. My understanding is after you finish eating, you will be "escorted" out of the park by a CM.

Not at all. You will be escorted to the gate after the completion of your meal and photo op, and they will not rush you at all. Be sure to use the restroom and purchase any snacks or souvenirs prior to your reservation. You will not be allowed to enter a store or use the restroom outside of the restaurant past 7pm.

BOG doesn't close at 7:00 on party nights. For some reason, some people choose to use their party time at BOG rather than doing party-only events.

We had a 6:45(ish) reservation for BOG last year on a party night. We were not rushed through dinner (quite the opposite, actually) but afterwards we were held in the restaurant courtyard until there were about 4 groups of guests gathered, and then we were escorted out of the park by a CM. She said that MK requires the restaurant to provide a CM to escort restaurant guests out after dinner if they're not staying for the party.

Sorry if I am wrong. I had read other info that said Tony's is the only TS restaurant that stays open through the party. With Disney, things change all the time so maybe my info was old.

Perfect, thanks. After 13 years of annual trips, I thought I had covered everything in planning ADRs, but I got so excited when BOG came up as available, I grabbed it, never questioning MNSSHP. If they don't close, I wonder what happens if people have an 8:00 or 9:00 ADR and no ticket?

The latest ADR you can make without a ticket is 6:55.

It's just a smart touring plan to schedule an ADR as close to 7 on a party night as possible, so you can maximize your time in the park before stopping to eat. Have fun!

We had a 6:45 last year on a party night and it was perfect. Full park day and fun to see all the costumes. But they sure did march us to the front quickly with escort when our meal was done. No stopping for photos or lingering allowed.

escorted out of the park? really? (not doubting it..just surprised)We didnt have tickets for the event and had a late crystal palace ADR and no one escorted us out...it was about 7:30 when we finished and then we went shopping on mainstreet..everyone was sitting ready for the parade to start.

You were lucky then. Usually, they won't even allow you to enter a store.

And it's even more likely they wouldn't let someone check out in a shop without a band after 7.
