Hi everyone,
We will be in DisneyWorld Oct 30-November 5 with my 6 yo daughter and my 2 yo(turning 3) daughter. Her birthday is November 1. We were looking at doing MNSSHP on Nov 1 (vs. Oct 31 bc we thought it might be a little less crowded). So I want my daughter to have a special day but know we also need to rest if we do the party that night.
I'm trying to figure out our agenda for the day. She's not really into princesses yet (but could be by then) so I was thinking Chef Mickey's for breakfast or Hollywood and Vine and then hang out at the hotel. Then plan on going to the MK at 4:00.
A few questions:
-Is she too young for the MNSSHP? I think we would probably be good until about 10 oclock or so but it is way past (both girls') usual bedtime and I want to be able to get my money's worth
-Any other suggestions on what to do for the 3rd birthday?

Thank you so much!

You can get her a button that says it's her birthday. She will get lots of Happy Birthdays for that ! Great idea to hang out at the hotel for rest before going to the MNSSHP. I don't want to discourage you but I took my kids when my youngest was that age and it was a big disaster. He was so tired and couldn't keep up. It was crazy busy when we visited mid-October. We couldn't ride anything and spent the whole night in lines waiting for candy or waiting for the parade and fireworks.

Thank you! That is my concern if we will get our money's worth since it is so late. However I've heard so many good things about it I hate not to try it because it will might be several years since we will be back.

We have done MNSSHP with a two year old, definitely need to get a nap in before the party. We had him sleep until 5 or so, then ate dinner and made it to MK around 6:30. Worst lines are for certain characters, so if you don't think she would really care about that, there are a lot of really cool party spots where you will not wait. The parade, villains show, and dance parties are crowded, but you can find good spots. If you want to hit rides, the ones she would like will be minimal waits.

IMHO, she's way too young to make it worth the price. I took my 4.5 year old dd who was a nightowl (and still is at age 12) and she was sound asleep by the time Hallowishes started!

The parties have such an impact on the rest of your trip, too. You need to plan a relaxed day of party, and then a late start the day after.

We did a party on my twins' birthday, it was great! We slept in then did the last possible Chef Mickey breakfast (11:20 I think) and stayed until the characters went away at 1pm. As the time passed and more people left we got more and more attention from them which was fantastic and truly memorable. We went back to the hotel and did nothing until heading to the party at 4pm. We stayed until the end, the bus ride home was funny because one of my children realized it was already tomorrow and beside himself. Only you can decide if it is worth it but my duo had a fantastic birthday!
