We are attending the 9.27 MNSSHP. I plan on having an easy non-park day so we can rest up for our long night. My question is this:

I have an ADR for CP @ 3:30, but I can get another for 4:45. Which would be better? We have never been to a MNSSHP, so I am unsure. I wanted to eat early, ride some rides, and then to party activities, but now I am not so sure.:confused3

I suggest keeping the 3:30. You can get into MK at 4pm with the MNSSHP ticket, so if you changed your ADR to 4:45, I think you would be missing out on to much.

I doubt that your date will be a busy mnsshp. Plus the activities do not start until 7PM. So unless you are planning on using hour regular park admission, i would take the later one. For me though i would do a nonpark lunch...or simply eat a cs

I would take the 4:45pm that way you can rest up a little longer before heading over to the party. Your tix to MNSSHP will allow you to enter MK at 4pm so you will have plenty of time to check in for your ADR at CP and you will not have to use up a Park Admission day to eat in for the earlier ADR time since you said you are planning it to be a non park day.
The park will be busiest between 4 pm and 7 with the party goers arriveing early and the day visitors not leaving till 7pm this overlapping can cause the attractions to be crowded, good time to be eating.

I'd pick the later one as well. 4:45 should get you out and about by 6pm, which is still a bit before the party stuff starts. It will also allow you to choose whether or not you want to burn a park ticket day or just save it and use the MNSSHP ticket to enter at 4. If you're up early (relatively, I'm talking by noonish here) and rested enough, you can always go earlier and get some of the stuff done then.

Also, a 3:30 meal may not cover you until the party ends, which would mean you'd spend more time finding another place to eat later in the night (which gets rather limited).

I would take the 4:45 time as well, However this may mean the difference in price between lunch & dinner....if this makes you a difference. I think 3:30 is the last lunch res., but I am sure 4:45 gets into dinner. Just something to think about.

I think a lot depends on what kind of park tickets you have....

Do you have hoppers? If so, earlier is fine. If not, well, then you'll be using a whole days worth of tickets for an extra 30 mins in the MK to make your ADR.

So my opinion is: hoppers=early. non hoppers=later.

If you take the 3:30, you will have to use a day off of your park tickets. Seems like a waste for 30 minutes.

If you want to do a TS dinner before the party, the 4:45 would be the best choice.

What we usually do, however, is have our TS meal for breakfast or lunch and then get to the park at 4 and have a quick CS. That way we are finished in plenty of time for a couple rides, and line up for one of the photo ops by 6:30.
