MNSSHP 2012 Official Information

I'm going to two MNSSHPs and want to wear different costumes to each. For one I know I'm going to wear my Chip kigurumi, which is basically like full body pajamas made to look like Chip with a hood and tail. I'm planning on putting it on a little early so I can get my picture taken with Chip and Dale while wearing it.

For the second party (on Halloween) I was originally going to dress as a princess, but now I'm looking at maybe a fairy? Basically I've lost 20 pounds and finally feel like wearing something a little girly for once. :rotfl:

Can you make dinner ADR's at the MK restaurants even if you aren't going to the party? Not everyone in our group wants to go to the party but we want to eat dinner together. Being at the MK would be easiest but we don't want to have an issue last minute. How do they make they non-ticket holders leave when the party starts?

Those without party wristbands will be politely asked to leave no later than 7:00p. You will not be able to make ADRs at 7:00p or after without a party ticket.

We have CRT ADR for 6 55 pm on a night with mnsshp. This won't cause an issue will it? I'm assuming as soon as we are done we just walk put of the park

Party guests get a wristband. When 7pm comes along CMs are out in force checking for wristbands. If you don't have one you must exit the park. Technically you should be able to make an ADR right up to party time, but I have seen reports in past years of the cutoff being earlier than 7. With all that said, imo, you shouldn't make an ADR that runs past 7. Party tickets are expensive and party time is limited so I wouldn't waste time in a restaurant. In addition, if the party guests want to get some of the popular/rare photo ops, they should line up for them around 6.

the last few years the put cast members at the enterance to everthing and would kindly ask you to leave. 2 years ago i saw them make a kind of human chain between peter pan and HM and they started checking everyone. They will not let you make a reservation at 7 or later unless you have a ticket. If you have a reservation and are there threw the start of the party when you are done you will walked to the gates.

we had a dinner reservations at around 6 at crt the night of a party and we did not finish dinner till after the party had already started (I think it might have been 7:30 or 8pm)...since we did not have a wrist ban they just direct us towards a roped off area leading towards the exit. It was great to get a glimpse of everything... it really made us sad that we decided to skip it, but this trip we are going =)

A) Although the 10/5 date isn't eligible for a discount, why is it saying the tickets don't go on sale until 10/5 at 12AM? I don't want to wait until midnight to buy them -- or the day of.

B) is there a thread of adult costumes? I'd love to get some ideas. Some of the princess marathon costumes are really cute, too.

The top of the train station is a popular hang out for those trying to "beat the system". Me and DH love to watch the parade from up there....the last year we went, we brought sandwiches from Captain Cooks at the Poly and got a chair to sit in at the railing to eat and watch the parade, it was great! Anyway one year, a whole gaggle of people without bands were hanging out for over an hour, waiting for the parade...and almost exactly 5 minutes before the parade started, CMs came up and made everybody without a band leave. It was kind of funny, because they waited so long and thought they were going to get away with it....they weren't too happy leaving. And yeah, there's no way one could NOT know either, they only announce it over the intercom system every 5 minutes a little before the party starts.

we have no idea what to do this year for costumes. Dh said he will wear anything and DD hasn't made up her mind yet.

We plan on doing the party on the very first night, Sept. 11th, but I'm such a planner, i want to know where the dwarfs will be. Is there a sneak peek of the party map yet?

Where are you seeing this? I just checked the WDW site and you can definitely buy tickets for the 10/5 party.

Hallowishes is what I look forward to every time...it's amazing! Pure love. <3

I'll be doing my wearable Maleficent inspired makeup along with wearing my Maleficent t-shirt while sporting my evil minnie ears and blingy diamond accessories. So it's like a "Glam Punk Maleficent" type of costume - that's what I like to call it. I'm a Maleficent lover - gotta get another pic with her for sure. DH will be sporting his Pumpkin Jack baseball cap and tshirt like he always does because he's obsessed with TNBC and DD4 will be Merida wearing the entire costume from the disney store including bow bag minus the arrows. This will be the first time I'll be using holding hair spray in her hair to keep the curls.

I am so excited...again! Every year I'm excited.

This will be our first time at MNSSHP. :woohoo: DH and I go every September for our anniversary and finally decided we had to check it out. DH is not big on dressing up but loves to people watch! He has a Haunted Mansion T he will wear.

Question :confused3 The character meet with the 7 Dwarfs. Do you get to meet them as a group? or individually?
