So this is our 1st time at MNSSHP. My son is going to be Mickey, Im Minnie and my daughter is Kim Possible and my hubby is gonna be Ron! Other than costumes, I have no idea what to expect.

We have dinner ressies at Tony's for the event.

What should I eepect? This is the last day of our trip too...Any suggestions to make it super fun?

Thanks!

That's funny I leave in 7 days and I'm trying to decide if I should do this or not. The price is a little expensive so i orignally reserved spots for the Spirit of Alhoa show since its in my Dinning Plan. After doing some reading I'm thinking about giving this a try but I'm not sure.... Ummm what made you pick this???

We are going this Oct and are not going to attend. I have really enjoyed the party. We have been the last two Oct. So my DW voted no and I voted yes. We have three boys 2, 5, 8. So for the 2 year old and 5 year old it is hard for them to make it to the end. So DW usually has to go back with them. My oldest and I made it to the end when he was 6 and 7. It is so much fun to have the park almost all to yourselfs. We rode Space Mountain, Splash Moutain, and Big Thunder Moutain twice.

What not to miss. The fire works are great. I thought they where the best I have ever seen. Make sure and get a great spot to view. Make sure to get your free picture. Make sure the kids take a nap that day to have lots of energy.

Make sure and do the Haunted Mansion as it is very special. They do a little more and I dont want to give anything away.

The parade is really cool too. You get to see characters in costume.

Note make sure to understand it is real crazzy at the begining of the party. Try and get there early and be organized.

We have never done the character meal but it would be a good thing. One year we ate before we came in and that saved time. Last year we where a little frustrated tying to get a meal along with a lot other people as the party was starting.

I am going to pack costumes just in case I can change my wifes mind. I am going to miss it.

Good Luck :thumbsup2

We are going on the 29th of Sept and so far I have learned that there is tons of candy spots and free candy bags. We are bringing our own. There will charaters out that you don't normally see. There is a villian viewing by the castle. I hope to see the evil queen. I just love her. There is a great parade that starts with the headless horseman. The fireworks are different from wishes and are not to be missed.

The picture is not free this year but 50% off.

I think it is worth the money to have so much fun and see so many characters and a parade and fireworks and to do all while dressed up! :Pinkbounc

I just looked to see what was going on while we were there that cost about $30 each. We usually do something extra - a character meal or what have you. Since we have the DDP this time, we had a little extra $$$ and decided to give this a go. Thing is, I dont know much about it and I like to plan things out a bit. We have a 2 yr old and a 7 yr old.

Expereinced peeps can tell me if Im stupid:

We are not going to the parks earlier on the party day - swimming and napping.

We have ressies at Tony's later that night - before the event (which leads to a question - If I am only using the admission ticket for that evening and not going during the day - how do I get in for that dinner? The CM told me that the dinner is for that event, but will they let me in before the time on the ticket? Anybody done that before?)

I'm not sure if we will ride over on the bus or in our car - any suggestions? I thought if we leave early there shouldnt be too long a wait. Car or Bus? Choose your poision! (I'm thinking car right now...but...)

When are the fireworks and parade? Is there a schedule posted somewhere? HELP!

And that is about as far as my planning goes. We leave the next day, which was probaly silly - but hey. I was hoping to get a late check out. But we will see. And I doubt it matters with a 2 yr old - who will be 3 on this trip.

I want to sit here and dig through all the threads, but I am supposed to be sewing about 20 of these!

I thought I would sew a few to a little extra $$$ for our trip. Im up to my eyeballs in orders! Ahhh!!! And we leave in 11 days!!!
