Can you use more than 1 single day/single park ticket in a day? In other words, instead of buying a 4 day park hopping ticket, could you buy an 8 day non-hopping ticket and use it for 2 admissions on the same day? We have a couple of old park-hoppers days we want to use up, and it's expensive to buy park-hoppers for only a short amount of days, so I was thinking about just getting more days and possibly using them to park hop if it's possible. :confused3

I believe that you can not use multiple days on the new tickets in one day. Once you enter one park, you can't then go to another park, even if you are willing to use up a second day on the ticket.

It is also very expensive to use up old park hoppers and also buy a new ticket (with less than 10 days) for use during the same 5 to 10 day vacation. If possible any one person should either use all old tickets or just one new ticket for the entire vacation.

If you have leftover tickets and can plan on park hopping on exactly one day of your vacation it is reasonable to use an old hopper for that one day and buy a new ticket that covers all the remaining days.

Everyone - thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure if it would work like one of the "plus" options or not. Is the MMY ticket pricing supposed to only be a temporary thing, like for this 18 month celebration? Maybe we'll just hold onto our old park hoppers for now and if the pricing goes back to the old ways then we'll use them. It doesn't seem like it makes sense to try to combine them with the MMY tickets.

I think what we'll do on this trip is just try getting tickets without the hopping features. Typically we get tickets for less days than what we stay for, so maybe this time we'll get tickets for every day we're there, but won't feel so obligated if we only want to spend a couple of hours in the park since since the other days are practically free.

The new ticket scheme is permanent. Don't forget you could trade in your old hoppers for credit towads new tickets, but you only get the pro-rated value based on what you paid for the old tickets. Still, if you are coming back in the foreseeable future, you might want to think about jusy getting a 7-10 day pass with no expiration and applying your old tickets to that.

Oh...interesting. Can you only do that at checkin? I was going to preorder the tickets, but applying the old ones to new ones and making them non-expiring sounds like something I'd like to think about if it's something I could do ahead of time. Thanks.
