Well its official its FALL!!!

YUMMM SO I made caramel apples today

I love caramel apples I even dipped them in mini chocolate chips

Just thought I would share

Another easy way to enjoy caramel apples is to make Caramel Dip--not nearly as messy, and my kids love it!!! (I also think it is way better than the store bought dip)

Take 1 lb caramels, 1 stick butter or margarine, and 1 can sweetened condensed milk. Melt together in the microwave or a double boiler. Stir well. Serve warm with apple slices. It also works well to keep it warm in a mini crock pot.

I just melted caramels in the microwave with a bit of water and dipped the appls in lol then I dredged them in chochlate cips and let dry. I'm in 7th heaven

Mmmmm, I just had a big, juicy Gala apple for dessert! It was so crisp and sweet/tart! It would have been perfect with caramel on it.

Affy Taple!! The Official caramel apple here in these parts! I grew up just blocks away from their factory which had a small store front to buy 'broken stick' caramel apples and, frozen bananas but, I just saw the other night that they moved closer to my new neighborhood!! Gotta find that factory/store!!

ooh that sounds sooo good...i have braces so i can't eat caramel apples right now. only a few more months...so next fall...yum...

luckily a restaurant at dca sells apple slices with caramel dip. i am not supposed to eat caramel at all, but if i am careful, i can sneak a few bites of those every now and then.
