mmm.... hot Beignets in the morning...

We had morning errands today and stopped into FQ for a quick breakfast.
We had forgotten how good Beignets are.
They are worth the trip to FQ alone for breakfast.
And yes, we used the DDE card.

Were you at Sassagoula? I think it's the only place in WDW that has beignets and I have planned a breakfast there myself just because of them. I'm in NC and they aren't a staple here like thay are further south. I had them for the 1st time in Savannah, GA about 5 years ago. Soooo YUMMY! I can't wait to partake!

What was the restaurant like? I never see it mentioned.

Sassagoula Food Court, FQ.
Guests can buy 3 or 6. We were sharing and got 6 for $3.99. I thought the price was very reasonable. They made them up as guests were ordering them. They really need to be eaten warm/hot.
Like a KK donut, they have a lot of air. Air, sugar and fat. But oh so good.

We don't eat in the food courts much. But for breakfast, it was pretty good. It was busy, and that is really the best time to eat at the food courts. When they are slow, the food becomes questionable.
