MM Warriors - Three Steps to Good Health (As of 11/18)

Kathy: Thanks for the coupon! Penneys has tall clothes for my husband so I was going to go there - cool!:cool1:

Robin, You asked if there was something you missed on me blowing Step 2. I have been weak willed the past 2 days. I told you guys that my daughter was making a wedding cake for a reception on Friday...well, yesterday as she was cutting and leveling off the carrot cake ( she makes a FABULOUS cake) I started eating the shaved off pieces. Today I told myself that I would count that as a slip and do well until possibly a little slip for some more cake at the reception. So, I went to swim and then stopped at the doctor's office to weigh myself as it's been about 5 wks since I last weighed and have felt like I have lost a lot since then. 4 lbs. A measly 4 pounds. I was bummed. So I came home and ate some more of the cake that she had cut off...white cake this time and very yummy. Then I had four squares of dark chocolate this afternoon ( 3 is legal 11-20) and now I feel like crying and screaming and running away from home. Actually just running away from myself. I need a swift kick to get me back up in the saddle (don't think any of your ponies could hold me, Robin. Would have to be a horse with a very strong back). Sorry, but this is my story and I'm sticking to it....unfortunately.

Carol: You are so strong for others; it's ok to lean on us when you need to. How are your clothes fitting? You know in 5 weeks you shouldn't lose much more than 5 - 10 lbs, depending on how much you have to lose so the scale isn't going to show a huge number. Get back on track starting with your next meal and perhpas write things down for a few days til you are back in control. Stay out of the kitchen at cake making time! Go for a walk, clean another room, chew gum, call a friend - whatever it takes! That cake doesn't go in your mouth - got it?? That's tough love, tee, hee.

prayers for Carrie, you, Michael, his son---may 2010 be a much better year for all of you! you fight 'em Momma Bear!

Thanks Natalie. I tell my girls, mess with me all you want, mess with my kids, you'll have a *itch on your hands!

I got my meds and some nuts. Tomorrow I can buy food. And the kids got a small toy each. Their treat is mine. :)

I'm sorry your having a difficult time Carol. Could you possibly let us help you with your menus, or is there some other way we could help?

Natalie, your right. I would help any one of you. Your my sisters, and Tom has got to be my brother because I play Christmas music year round to cheer me up too!

Pony did you try the white tea yet? It's just as good for you with a much lighter flavor.

Kathy, your having way too much fun with this package stuff! :rotfl:

I still can't believe everyone kept this quiet. Normally you all can't stop talking!

Your welcome, Lisa. I love getting coupons from there. I wish I had it when I got my shoes :(
May have to pick up another pair. They would only run me around $25 after my coupon!! Oh wait, I may try some easy spirit shoes OOOOH!!:thumbsup2
My grandma swore by those shoes.

Carol - I agree with Lisa, I think that the 4 lbs is probably not a bad loss considering the up and down MM curlique...you might weigh again tomorrow and have lost 8 pounds! Lay off the cake and keep on truckin!! My ponies are quite strong so dont you worry about getting back in the saddle!!

Kathy - go get em TIGER!!!! Call if you need reinforcements and me and Captain Lisa will head your way!:cool2:

Nell - believe me when I say PONY had a hard time keeping her mouth shut...of course you already know that about me!! Glad the kids got a treat too, and NO I have not tried the white tea yet...Im going to have to save up all the YUKKY teas I have tried like 2 teabags out of and send them all to Lisa!!! I swear I have a collection of YUKKY tea going right now!! Too bad you cant regift boxes you already opened! :lmao:

I'm sorry you're going through such a hard time Carol. Please don't beat yourself up too much. It was a slip. When we slip, we just stop and continue what we need to do. Don't turn to food to comfort you. That's what we're here for
Now, you had your cake, and ate it to. Now pick yourself up, and go right back to what you were doing before this little episode. Are you feeling depressed or something? Sometimes that can be a trigger. Cake is my HUGE weakness. I try to avoid it at all costs. I can't imagine having it right there.
Please don't get discouraged with the scale. Go by how your clothes are feeling. The scale is the devil himself I think. I am one of those daily weighers. ZAP!! But I don't rely on it at all. I think it's more habit for me. I don't give it much thought.
Be proud about how far you've come. Don't think how far you want to go. You will get there. As Nell says, slow and steady wins the race.
We love you, so love yourself. And remember, God don't make junk!!
:grouphug:

Nell, I forgot all about the tea bags :lmao: I completely forgot!! Let me know how they are. I know you wanted to try some different kinds, so hope those will be ok.
Now, go put on the socks, light your candle, and enjoy your evening and give your babies a hug from us!!

I am going to head off to bed. Took my allergy medicine, and it makes me sleepy.

Lisa, hope you feel better tomorrow.

Kate, still saying prayers for your niece. I hope she was doing better today.

Carol, hope tomorrow is a better day for you

Robin, hope you get to talk to Ken tonight

Nell, ENJOY

Jocelyn, just wanted to say hi.

If I missed anyone, sorry.
Have a great night and sweet dreams. God bless you all. Love you all bunches

Lisa - do you feel any better after your nap?

OMG, I am so bored...cant wait another hour to get going to the gym! And it started raining again....ugh, I might as well live in Portland!!

Nite Kath!!

I sponsor a girl in the Philipines through World Vision and a couple years ago I sent money to her and her family, I designated 3/4th of it to the whole family and 1/4 for Ruby--well, she sent pictures of ALL the stuff they got, food ,treats for themselves and this HUGE Winnie the Pooh for Ruby!! I felt so blessed. I feel blessed you can get your meds, treats for you two and the dogs!!!

Yep, and I have pillow spray on my pillow too. It's smells awesome!

Pony you actually can re-gift open boxes of teabags. If you know someone that loves tea, just buy a mug, get a basket, and make a pretty arrangement. You can add tea biscuits if you want or whatever you think goes along with it. Your challenge is going to be giving the present to someone who doesn't know you hate green tea! :rotfl:

Nite Kath!!

I don't feel better, but that's boring to talk about. Tom's making me a breakfast tortilla for dinner and I'll go to bed early. Love you guys!
