Someone had asked me to share how MM went last week that was rescheduled to Wed instead of Thursday due to Grad Nite. We arrived 20-25 minutes early and were second in line in our favorite line (I think it's 13 or 14 and sits just in front of a tree on the left side). There were lines but they didn't seem nearly as busy as normal MMs I've been to. While DL did not post the rescheduled MM on the website calendar (which they SHOULD do!), they did have signs at the security entrance which mentioned the changed MM schedule for the week.
On a side note- one bummer was that there were several lines at the gates on right side which were labeled for MM, but just 15 minutes before the gates opened, a CM came and told everyone in those lines that they would not use those gates after all. People were VERY upset. One family which was first in one of the lines that had to move decided to cut into the line next to us into the second position - they said they deserved to cut into another line since they were first at one of the gates that had to move. This outraged the people behind them, security was called, people were yelling at them, etc. While I felt bad and upset for the families who lost their place in line at the right-hand gates, I thought it was so rude of that one family to move in and cut in someone else's line and insist they had a right to stay there even when other people who had been in that line all along asked them to leave. Then, what really ticked me off about the whole situation is that the family in front of them was picked to open the park and the cutters somehow got to tag along as well. I think the husband talked the CM into letting them in too just to get them out of the ugly situation brewing in the lines, but they could have just avoided the ugliness by MOVING. It was an ugly way to start the day. And I thought it was poorly handled by all the Disney staff involved.
