MK Xmas Trees?

We were down at OKW on 12-6 to 12-12 in a GV. There were 9 of us. One thing we noticed at MK, the 2 big trees were not up. They were there last year and every other Christmas we've gone. I figured they were down for the parade but I never saw them go up. Were they deleted this year?

The one in Town Square was up when we went to MVMCP on 12/8, along with the Main Street garland.

The parade was taped on 12/6, they were not there then.

I only saw 1 tree last year - I think that's all there is at MK - it's in the Town Square (or circle as the case may be).

The tree in MK was not up for MVMCP on 12/6 but it was up when we went on the 9th. I only know of one tree in MK.

Thanks, that's what I thought. We were at MMVCP on the 6th and finished MK on the 7th.
The other tall tree used to be put off to the right of the hub where the partners statue near the metal fence beside the rose garden.

For the last couple of years Disney has been slowly reducing the Holiday decorations. The MK seems to be less affected due to MVMCP.

I was fortunate last year to meet several of the Cast Members on the decorating team. They mentioned then that Disney had reduced the restaurant decorations to only two small trees, much less than previous years.

In past years, before the first MVMCP, the Town Square tree was put up near the castle until the taping of the Christmas parade was completed the first week of December. Then the tree was moved down Main Street to Town Square where it is now. I noticed this year that it was not placed near the castle before the taping. Cost saving issue I guess.

But now, all is in place. Merry Christmas.

Is this the big trellis on the walkway between Future World and World Showcase? We were at WDW last week and saw that the lights were no longer there. That was one of my favorite decorations.
