MK was EMPTY last night!

We have annual passes and usually go to a park on Sunday afternoons...

Last night we went to MK and it was EMPTY! We literally WALKED ON to Thunder Mnt, Splash Mnt, Pirates... never had a wait AT ALL...

It was GREAT for my 3 year old to enjoy Splash and Thunder Mnt's for the first time... he was able to ride BOTH TWICE within just 45 minutes...

I LOVE Disney the week after Labor Day!

That's good to hear (for me - maybe not for Disney's financial statement ). We are doing MK next Sunday and I was worried because Sunday is the day that the planning guides say to avoid. But with our schedule, Sunday next week works out as the best day for our second MK day. I hope that we have the same experience next Sunday.

I wonder why the planning guides say to avoid Sundays? Maybe because that's the "first" day at the parks for many weekly visitors???

We go almost every Sunday and it's NEVER really horrific (even during high season!)...

Hey Em, did Jacob really like Thunder and Splash? I took Julia on Splash when she was 3 and she hated it... I don't know if i'll ever get her or her sister back on. Ian is 3 inches away from being able to go on them and he's my dare devil, can't wait!!!

Glad to hear MK was empty, hopefully it keeps up for when we get there on Friday...

I believe Sunday is usually when MK has its EMH in the evening. At least that is the way it is on Sunday 9/24 We plan to go to MG for the Extra Magic hours that evening. I've seen a lot of places that list the parks to avoid as the one with EMH. We have park hopper options on our tickets & plan to do a lot of park hopping.

We are also wondering about the EMH on Sundays. We are probably going to head there on Sunday night, but only if the crowds are not awful.
