MK - two day touring plan

I'm planning our September trip!

While we love going to Disney our last MK visit was 10 years ago. While we love or Food and Wine at EP, we are breaking the mold and heading to MK. Two days!

Other than SDMT, what would be the next go-to for FPs. We will have two days at MK, Thursday/Saturday. I fully expect Saturday to be crazy packed. Would probably spend 9 or so hours in the park each day.

It's me, 53, my mom 78, my BFF 50 and her daughter 13. My mom is content to sit while we go on a "thrill" ride.

Any of the mountains--Space, Splash, or Big Thunder. Some people get FP for one side of the park (Splash, Big Thunder) and rope drop Space Mountain and the surrounding rides, or vice versa. Others get the FP for the big rides and go quickly to Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Jungle Cruise. You probably won't be speed walking with your mom, but could easily do Pirates and Haunted Mansion before going on Splash and Big Thunder with FP.

In addition to the mountains and mine train, Peter Pan Flight gets LONG line for most of the day and is a classic that everyone can ride. If anyone is interested in characters, you may want to consider using a FP there as some of the lines(specifically Mickey/Minnie and Cinderella) can get long and 4th FPs may be gone by midday

Day 1. Rope drop jungle cruise, pirates. FP btmrr, splash.( Mom can ride liberty river cruise or visit hall of presidents while you do thrill ride.). FP Peter Pan. Then pick up 4th FP for haunted mansion, small world, dumbo, Pooh, barnstormer

Day 2 rope drop buZz, Tomorrowland speedway. FP space mountain, sdmt, and maybe a princess or Mickey/Minnie meet and greet.
Ride “anytime” rides like people mover and carousel of progress, teacups, carousel, while mixing in 4th/5th FPS
