MK twice or MK/AK

Originally we were supposed to be going to Disney for 7 nights but then we had to cut the trip 2 days short .

Now I am trying to figure out which parks to go to. The problem is we only have 4 full days. One day we have MNSSHP tickets (dinner at CP at 5:10) and one day we wanted to go to a water park. My boys are 4 and 5 so we can't do 2 parks in one day unless we want lots of whining! The boys are into Buzz and Woody and my husband wants to see Lights! Motor! Action! (his only request) so MGM is one of the days. We have one day left. I figure Epcot is probably not that big of a deal to miss since the boys are young and Living Seas will be closed. Should we do AK or MK a second day (during the day)?

We are staying at WL and we will be coming back to Disney probably in May so it isn't a once in a lifetime trip (or even a once in a year). This is their first trip, though. Thanks for the advice...

I would go to AK on the morning you are doing MNSSHP. Head back to WL for lunch and relax there for the afternoon. Take the lauch from WL over to MK to arrive at MK after 4PM. If you arrive after 4PM you will be able to get in with MNSSHP ticket only. You don't say what kind of tickets you will have but with this plan you would only need 3 day tickets w/o park hopper option. If you buy with plus option you would have 2 per ticket. But the cheapest ticket would be 3 day base ticket and pay for separate water park entry. This would cost 217.80/per adult and 173.82/per child.
