Hi all, we usually do Disney World in October, but with the kids in school (higher grade levels now) and myself as a teacher (no longer have an October break as I have in the past) we are "forced" to attempt Disney in June. I am traveling with my DH, DD(9), DS (11, 7, and 2). My extended family will be traveling along with us as well, but we are doing some things on our own and meeting up at some points (my two parents, brother and sister in law and their children (3, 6 and 8)

We will be in the castle for BBB appointment for my daughter at 8:20 that morning we do MK (Friday, June 13th). I assume she will be done by 9:00 as we are not doing the full package with the dress and all.

Minimizing wait time is a huge plus (but also don't want to be crossing the park several times with lots of little legs).

Thank you in advance for your thoughts, suggestions or tweeks.

I've gone in. June plenty of times. It's really hot and the crowds are definitely there, but it's also manageable.

I think the plan looks reasonable. I think you might have a little challenge with the plans around HM. With summer crowds around 1pm, I would anticipate a 30-45 min wait at that attraction so you may have to move a Country Bears back.

I would also probably switch out the FP for POTC to HM just because I think you'll have to wait in line for one or the other and the POTC line feels great because of the glorious air conditioning. IMO at 3:30 in the middle of June, more time in that building is better!

Have a great time!

This will be my first ever June trip as well, and we're also planning on the MK on June 13th! (Good old Friday the 13th - cue the spooky music here.) Having never gone in June before, I don't have much advice but I hope it all works out for you!

We have been going in June for years. FL starts getting really packed about 11:00. Get as much as you can done early especially those rides that don't move lots of people. Plan to stop for your meals before the masses. We usually have a light lunch around 11 or 11:30. Then we make an ADR in the 4 to 5 range when we are running out of steam. Meal takes an hour and a half. It is nice and cool. We are waited on and have time to rest. About the time we get done, the sun is starting to head down, it will start to cool off some and we catch our second wind.

Here is a tip....Never miss a chance to drink some water! :thumbsup2

Looks fun, and maybe a bit ambitious. With Space at 10:50 and a child swap and your next ride at 12:30, doesn't leave much time for your lunch break or any inevitable potty breaks that will surface based on the group you have.

OTOH, if you already know where you plan to eat (I presume a CS place?) it may be perfectly timed! I find that I tend to "under-schedule" our touring plan bc of all the unexpected things that can pop up. Then everyone is in such a good mood bc "we accomplished so much more than we planned!"

Either way, Hope it's a magical time!

Yeah, I agree...probably a little too much packed in, but I figure we'll get done what we can and if we have to skip a few things we'll be okay. If we miss a lot we may consider skipping AK and doing an extra day at MK.

It might be tight to be at ETWB but 12:30 is just the start time of our fast pass, so if we end up getting there after 12:30 it is okay...other then pushing our other stuff back, but we are okay with that. It's kind of one of those plans that I'd like to follow closely the first few hours, and then the 2nd half of the day it will give us some structure, but we will take a "what happens, happens" approach...just felt like I need some sort of plan to manage the park in June.:)

It might be helpful to know which things are more important and which are less important. This list is doable, but it will be tough, especially with little ones.

I noticed you left Peter Pan off. Maybe you just don't care for it, or think it's worth the wait time. But if it's something you want to do, as long as you are there BEFORE rope drop, I think it would be ok to hit PP first and then head to the mine train. It's only a 3 minute ride so you could still conceivably get to 7DMT less than 10 minutes after park opening. Of course, no one knows what wait times will be like at that point. The other option is to swap one of your FP to PP or 7DMT.
