MK today

Got 2nd in line for 7 dwarves after BOG breakfast. Then went to thunder which already had a 30 minute wait. Went on that. Wanted to do Jungle cruise but had 40 minute wait. Went on pirates. Then haunted FP. Wanted to do small world but 40 minute wait as was tomorrowland speedway..rides which should be less than 40 minutes at 10 a.m.! Dd loved exploring tom sawyers island. Had lunch at Pecos. It was 1 at this point and tried for JC again but it was broken! At this point DD was exhausted. All the rides had 40 minute plus waits..so we came back to hotel. I tried changing our afternoon fast passes that were at 2 and 3:30 but all FPs were used up for the day. So frustrating. I am a heavy planner and feel beat by the system. Looking forward to sea world tomorrow for a break from the planning and massive crowds!

We were at MK today and I sure agree with you. We go this time of year each year and I haven't seen it this crowded, but we don't have to do everything. I feel for first time visitors!

I also noticed that cast members are not all as happy as in previous years. Waiting at the BOG restaurant to order the woman is just standing there...then opens the door. No fanfare. Cast members at registers are like robots. No "where are you from or how is your day?"..maybe the crowds are wearing them down? Bus drivers too..no getting on the speaker to welcome and talk to guests. This used to be part of the Disney experience that made it Disney. I don't care if it was artificial..it made me feel welcome. Check in at hotel was also totally weird. Here is your room..here is a map. Bye.
