MK to WL with ECV?

We will be in the MK and have ADR at Whispering Canyon. How can I get there with ECV?

You could use the bus, but I think that one of the boats that goes there is wheelchair accessible too.

Take the bus. On the boat you have a 50/50 chance of having to wait for the 1 of the 2 boats that you can drive your ecv onto.

Good morning, GrammyJudy.

I can only give you my own personal experience if that would help.

I love taking the boat from MK to WL.

It is a beautiful ride by boat and just like the monorail, the line entrance is mainstream for everyone to enter and the castmember will place a portable ramp at the boat entrance to help you drive your scooter onboard.

There are three boats at MK to board. The obvious small boat with the stepdown is impossible for scooters that go to GF, Poly, and CR.

But the larger covered, air conditioned boats with outside areas up front will allow you to drive on.

Just look for the larger boat that goes to WL instead of going to the campground.

And the walk from the BW dock up to WC is a beautiful walk, too. I like to tour around the resorts. See if you can time the top of the hour to see the WL guyzer shoot up located between the pool and the lake to the left side of the path from the dock to the WL.

I also like taking the boat to the campgound or just take the paved path from WL to the campground.

It is a great boat ride at night, too.

As far as the wait. It depends on the time of day and when people are leaving or arriving like after a parade or fireworks opening or closing, etc.

I also like to take the boats when at Epcot or MGM.

At Epcot's International Gateway, you can either take a beautiful walk along a lighted, wide, paved walkway or take the boat from Epcot to BW to B&YC to Swan and Dolphin and finally to MGM.

The reverse trip follows the same route in reverse.

These boats have a place to park inside and a small seating are in the back that is open. This is a great boat ride, too.
