MK to WCC & back again!

If we drive to MK, spend most of the day there - can we take a bus to Wilderness Lodge for dinner at Whispering Canyon - then bus back to MK for fireworks and get our car to drive back to Pop?

Or should we just drive to MK then to WL then back to MK?

My thought is what if we are beat after dinner - then we would have our car BUT if we did want to do fireworks we would lose our parking spot.

The boat is lovely-you catch it at the MK.

Second the boat option. It’s quiet and relaxing and quick! It lets off/picks up right in front of MK just look for the boat to WL.

Another vote for the boat option. The launch is located right at the park exit, there will be a sign that says Wilderness Lodge. If you take the boat back to the MK after dinner you will take the boat with the red flag on the left of the dock, it will be clearly marked.

I don't think it has ever taken us longer than a 1/2 hour including wait time to get from MK to WL. Just to be safe though I would say you should be standing on the dock by about 4:30.

The boat ride itself took about 17 minutes after we got aboard (the curse of being project manager I time everything). You should plan on being at the dock at least 45 minutes before your ADR. And a warning while the food is as good as ever they have virtually gutted the antics and the antics made up about 75% of the reason we used to go.

The boat to/from WL is great! We have post Christmas to NYE reservations at WL, can’t wait.

Agreed, WCC Food is still mighty tasty.....but the overall experience (fun) is greatly diminished from what it used to be, at least for those who ate there before they squashed the antics.

Another vote for the boat option....you catch it right there at the pier at Magic Kingdom and don't have to head back to TTC. The boat drops you off right at WL and then you catch the boat again from WL to MK
