MK to GF by monorail??

How long does it take to get to the GF from the MK by monorail? TIA!

You could also take the launch from the MK to the GF.

Unfortunately, the GF is the last stop from the MK. You have 3 stops in between the MK and GF. I'd say 20 minutes
The boat launch is another option, but you may stop at the Poly before the GF.

I am not 100% sure but I think I read that when the boat leaves the Magic Kingdom it 1st goes to the Grand Floridian, then the Polynesian and after that it's back to the Magic Kingdom.

i agree with about 20 minutes. since you didnt ask about other transportation options, i will avoid telling you.

This is indeed the usual route. During busier times when there are two launches operating, I believe they traverse the route in opposite directions. So it may be wise to ask.

I'm a big fan of these smaller launches - it's a nice, short, pretty ride.

I am asking because after an early BBB appt for my DD at MK we have an ADR for 1900 PF and I am just looking at the quickest way to get there. Thanks all for your help!

Since the boat from the Grand Floridian goes to the Polynesian before the Magic Kingdom, then the Monorail is the best way when going there since the Magic Kingdom is the very next stop. So if you're lucky enough to get to the Grand Floridian Monorail station when the Monorail is there, you will be at the Magic Kingdom in 30 seconds. If it's not there when you arrive another Monorail should be there in 5 minutes or less, so the wait is not that long.

Definitely take the boat. Much faster than the monorail if you're going from the MK to the GF. When we stayed at the GF, we took the launch home from the MK all the time.
