What is the quickest or best way to get from MK to AK?

You could take the monorail to the TTC and then take the bus to the AK or take the bus to the AKL, then hop the bus to the AK..

Resort bus you can,get off at first stop that bus makes at resort.Then wait at that stop and board AK bus.

The absoulute quickest way from AK to MK is by having a rental car.

That is the truth! Nothing worse than Disney Transportation Gone Bad - actually that should be the title of the newest reality show!

It is very hard when you want to get from one park to another, or one resort to another...

We walked in June from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary Resort and took the bus to the AK from there. It is at most a 10 minute walk and the bus stops at the CR at covered from the sun/rain. Worked out really easy.
You could also monorail to the CR and walk outside to the bus stop.

This sounds like a good plan

This is what I was going to suggest. Or, get on the monorail - get off at the first resort (GF? or CR?) and take one of their buses to the AK.
