MK Timing?

We have a Capture Your Moment session scheduled at MK at 8:45 AM (have to be there by 8:35) and are trying to figure out the best way to get there in the morning. MK's regular opening time is 9 AM. We are staying at All Star Sports and I've seen the recommendations to be at the bus stop by 7, but we don't really want to wait around for a long time with rope drop crowds. We just want to arrive around 8:20 or so.

We will have a car, so does it make more sense to drive or take a bus? Do we still have to aim for 7 am or can we get away with a later time?

If you drive you will need to park at the TTC and then take a monorail or boat to MK. That is going to eat up some time. I wouldn't wait too long to get in line at the bus stop. Between the time to get to MK and then lines for security and park entry I think you would be cutting it close if you don't get on one of the early buses.

If you really don’t want to wait around, I would recommend you splurge and take a Minnie Van. That will be the quickest point-to-point option.

Like PP said, I’d request a Minnie Van at 7:45am.

Minnie Van is a good option, but I’d be prepared to jump on a bus quickly as Plan B if needed. Availability of Minnie Vans in a timely manner is never a guaranty, especially at periods of the day when a lot of people are moving around property such as rope drop and evenings. Since returning we’ve had reasonably good luck with Minnie Vans, but you just never know - so IMHO definitely have a back up that you can execute quickly. With a hard event time such as a photo shoot, you don’t want to push your luck too hard, if possible (in my opinion). Good luck!
