MK - still stand to side with new RD?

I had read that it was best to stand either to the left or right when arriving for MK's RD. Is that still the best thing to do with the new rope "walk"? Or should we stand based on where we're headed? Left for Adventureland, center to get on PP first, right for SDMT/Tomorrowland.
