Did anyone have a MK shoot taken in front of the castle during the Holiday Season? Would love to see some pictures!

Thanks!

Here is the link to the pictures. They are both the wedding and the mk photo shoot. We were married Dec 4th

Cheers!

First, you pictures are beautiful! I love the red in the dress...very simple but ohhh so elegant!!!!

We had seen pictures with the castle all lit up---it looked like it was all "iced over" (like an ice castle)...done just for the holidays. Was that done at that time? Or do they not light it up like that for Wedding pictures? I like the fact it is lit up but somewhere I remember seeing those other photo's.

Only one bride got pictures with the castle iced because they were testing the lights. The do not turn them on during the shoot.

That was me. Our wedding was November 10th and our MK shoot was November 11th. The lights were on when we pulled up into the MK. They were testing the lights and doing a rehearsal for the filming of the MK Christmas Parade that is shown on TV. We did not purchase the rights to the pictures but we did bring our own camera and our Disney photographer took a few shots for us with our camera. Here are one or two.

Wow! That truly is a once in a lifetime shot then! Absolutely beautiful!

We have been kicking around different ideas for getting married at Disney and since we both love the Holiday Season, thought that might work for us. Wasn't sure if they "iced the castle" over for the photo shoots or not. Or if they really took any with the decorations. Thank you for the information.

There have been one or two other brides who got pictures with the castle all iced up, I think its one of those things that depends on that day as well

I didn't realise I might not get the Christmas lights, I'm glad i've found out now, if I'd found out on the day it might have put a downer on it. I hope I get them when they are on!

I guess as with everything else, it can't hurt to ask if they could be turned on. What's the worse they can say...NO!
