MK Rope Drop Question

I have a question about Magic Kingdom rope drop. I think it would be cool to watch it from behind the train station, you know, probably after breakfast at the Main Street Bakery.

The reason I say "behind" is because I think it would be cool to meet up with the dancers and whoever the host is before they go on and to walk alongside one of the characters (for me, it would be either Aladdin and Jasmine, because they'd normally take the first ride on the Magic Carpets, or Tiana, because I think she's beautiful, and it would sorta fun to escort her to her greeting spot in Liberty Square.)

Now, my question is--is this possible?

It is possible to watch the opening show from inside the park, but not possible to have a pre-rope drop breakfast at Main St. Bakery, unless you are there for morning EMH and the bakery is open for EMH. Otherwise, you would have to be eating at one of the TS meals inside the park before park opening.

As for "escorting" characters to their respective greets, I can't speak to what would actually be allowed. I've never bothered to notice them walking from the train station; that being said, I have serious doubts that they parade them through the RD crowd.

Aladdin and Jasmine do not appear until 9:30; my DD had already ridden the carpets 4 times before they arrived to take their ride two weeks ago.

Thanks for the help, but I've heard they open the let guests through the turnstiles around 8:30-ish or so.

They let you through the turnstiles but stop you in front of the train station and wont let you through onto Main Street until after the opening song and dance stuff.

If that is so, I'd better get there early, so I can get as close to the right-hand side tunnel as I can, so I can catch up with either Aladdin, Jasmine or Tiana.

Oh, and this picture proves that the characters don't have attendants with them as they walk down Main Street after the ceremony.

See? Aladdin, Jasmine and Tiana are walking without attendants at their sides.

They don't always have attendants with them. My daughter walked hand in hand with Snow white to her greeting spot from the base of main street. It was the best part of our entire trip. We were delayed because the monorail broke down but as we walked through the tunnel there was the Princess, I thought my daughter was going to explode!

I hope that photo worked.....but with my luck.....probably not!

Well, the photo didn't show up, but that sounded like quite a magical memory! I hope I can do the same thing with Tiana, and escort her down to her greeting spot in Liberty Square.

And with Aladdin and Jasmine, I'd just like to stroll along with them, and possibly ride the Carpets with them!

I just wanted to mention that these characters are not always there, so there is no guarantee that you will see anyone walking down Main Street.

We just got back this morning from a 12 day trip and did rope drop at MK a few times and there were no face characters for the rope drop performances.

That said, last trip Mary Poppins and Bert walked along next to us and greeted my kids. (They don't have handlers/attendants, but they do not stop for photos or autographs.) My kids were thrilled, especially since we were having breakfast later with MP at 1900 Park Fair.

Well, no offense or anything, but I think that statement is false. There are always characters on the train, alongside the "special family".

Well, thanks for the "no offense" but no I actually wasn't lying.

Yes, there were the Main Street singers and the Fire Chief (before the train arrived) and there were characters (Mickey and friends) on the train but there were no "face characters" (Mary Poppins, Tiana, etc)

I really don't know why you're bothering to ask questions when you're just contradicting and second guessing every response you get.
