Our deadline is tomorrow, and I am so excited about getting this swap out to you all. My plan-to-mail date is next Thursday, but if everyone's gets here in time, I will do it earlier. Buffy, I saw your message on the Land thread, so I'll keep an eye out for yours.

We are just waiting on a few more, so we should be ok!!

I was just coming in to let you know Buffy had posted to you on Land!!! Glad you caught it!!! How's the heat???? Nasty here!!! We are off to the pool soon.. We are still fighting BUT winning the battle of the last 4-H project.. We are gift wrapping a weddin shower gift!!! We have everything ready.. just our bow is giving up stuff!!!

Sorry I just posted on 1 thread, we got Nancy's thunderstorms last night and the computer has been running really slow ever since. I'm finishing up now but I have to keep rebooting the computer. The one that the printer is hooked up to is the one that is broken. If I finish by 6pm I'll FedEx today, they close at 6:30.

Hey! They weren't my storms .. I didn't send them. YodasMom (Karen) did! She wouldn't even send them to me.. she shipped them directly east!!!
We had every county surrounding us with warnings and rain and we didn't get even so much as a drop!!!!!

Yes, we were very productive!!! Now we can relax and enjoy everything at the fair!!! We ran out and get the pearls for the borders of the inside of the box to cover the edges to make them "clean"... We found a set that were 1/2 pearls so the backs were flat!! I'll have to post a picture of her box!!! I think she did a pretty good job!!! With all the spare time I had.. I even cleaned my scraproom and the HOUSE!! Yes, we have a clean house.. and the laundry is one load away from being done!!!

I'm trying to remember (after two days) what I did for that swap!

I get a lot of brads from www.justbrads.com. And, I think I used some clipart in that swap, too. Oh, and I used some metal charms that I found somewhere on the internet for a really good price (probably Ebay).

I have to admit that we have a craft store, not a scrapbooking store, locally that has been in the process of going out of business for about 3 to 4 months. And, seeing the volume of inventory that they had, I'm sure that's why they went out of business. Their prices used to be too high, too. Well, in May everything was 70% off and this month 80% off. They don't have much left now, but I really got some good bargains. I got a lot of brads for the holiday things as well as other embellishments for a lot of my other swaps. It was fun! I think they're closing at the end of July, finally.

Hey Nancy........You must have gotten the new storms I sent you last night, didn't you. It was wild here! We have undergorund electrical cables since it's a new subdivision, but the power still went out during this storm. It has given me a chance to test out the landscaping repairs done a few weeks ago to prevent drainage in the wrong places. I think it worked, though they need to return to repair their repairs......the usual!!

Yes, we have had rain all day.. but only rain.. no rumbles of thunder or lightning.. just a nice spring rain that has lasted most of the day.. It's cool and comfortable.. Thank you for getting them to go my direction!!!!

So I was wrapping up my last element and getting ready to go to FedEx when DS5 and DS4 rammed into each other running around the house. Well as you know all H-E-double-hockey sticks broke out so I did not make it there. So first thing tomorrow we will try again, I think I'll leave before anyone gets up!!! So you will have them by Saturday or I will drive to your homes personally!!!!! I could use the break.....
