There are two nights at the Magic Kingdom during my stay that there will be the 3:00 parade, 9:00 parade, 10 fw and closing at ll:00, the other night has the two parades, 9:45 fw and closing at 9:30 (?) it said. The night in between the park closes at 9 and e-ticket is 9-12midnight (which we plan to do).

My question is, if we don't want to watch the parades, do you think it's worth trying to go during the parades to do rides (hoping that everyone else is sitting by the curb)? Or are those afternoons/evenings going to be just crazy?

Definetly....also, if you are willing to miss Tinkerbell's flight, watch the fireworks from behind the castle. A CM actually pulled us out of a ride line for them. We watched Spectro from near the castle, did Small World and Pooh After Spectro and before FITS and did Pooh and Tea Cups after FITS and before closing.

It was great low crowds at lines as they are all pushing their way up and down main street.

Enjoy,
Sandy

If you can time it just right, it's really fun to ride Big Thunder Mountain during the fireworks! We got in three consecutive rides during the fireworks on our last trip! The view from the top of the "mountain" is great! :p
