MK resorts Christmas decor & lounge dining plan?

Does anyone have suggestions or route/eating? 4 adults & it will be done on our way to Very Merriest.

We did this a few years ago - we started at Trader Sam's at Poly and got there early enough to be in the first wave of people to get in. We then took the monorail to GF, got some gingerbread and poked around in the shops (this was before Enchanted Rose opened and I would highly recommend a stop in there). We then took the monorail to Cali Grill and had an early dinner there, but you could also simply sit at the bar at Steakhouse 71 if you don't want a pricey, prix-fixe meal. If you find you have some time on your hands, you could also monorail to MK, take the boat to WL and check out the lobby plus Geyser Point and/or Territory Lounge, take the boat back to MK, go to CR and then walk to MK for the party. If the resort launches come back, shuttling from WL to CR would be easier, but there is no announcement as to if or when those will start again.
