It's my understanding that starting next week, due to construction of the new area, the WDW Railroad won't be able to travel to the Frontierland station but will remain open. Will it just go back and forth between Main Street and Fantasyland? I don't remember seeing more than one track, so will it just be one train constantly going back and forth between the two stations?

Yes, that’s pretty much it. It’s not the first time they have done this, but it’s been a while. I suppose it’s better than closing it completely like they did while building Tron. I’m guessing that they couldn’t get the trains back into the roundhouse at night when Tron was being built, but they don’t have that problem so long as the track on the east side from the roundhouse to Main Street is clear.

Part of the reasons for the closer during the tron construction was because they took the time to retrack the line.

The previous course when they ran trains from Main Street to then Micky's Toon Town country Fair now Fantasy land station it was actually the railroad ops department that decided to run the train like that and it actually was planned to be closed we'll splash mountain was built.

So, will there only be one train running? Or is there a part of the track that splits off so they can pass each other (like the Hogwarts Express at Universal).

I'm thinking no...

Going to be much longer waits at either station...

Seems as if they are going to blame it on Stitch.

They were able to mix up the seating so at least some will always be facing the right direction.

Since the construction is just past Frontierland area, will there somehow be a train that goes from Toontown station through Tomorrowland and back again?

There are only 3 stations: Main St., Frontierland, and Fantasyland (Storybook Circus).

It looks like the train will just be going back and forth from Main St. to Fantasyland/Storybook Circus. So yes, it will go through Tomorrowland.
