Sorry if this has been asked before .....

If you have a PS in the MK before the park opens does a CM escort you to the restaurant?

When we went to the PSB a couple years ago (the first year they had it) there were CMs along the way to check our PS # and direct us to the restaurant since WS wasn't open yet. I think our PS was before FW was open too.

Thanks!
Debbie

Nope. They may check before you enter MK, although they did not check this past week. Otherwise, you are free to walk down Main Street without a CM. It's a great experience. Take lots of pictures!:D

I have a question on this topic as well. Thanks for reminding me WeLoveThePoly ::yes::

Our Crystal Palce PS is at 8:05am.I have heard that they do not start letting people into the park for breakfast PS's until promptly at 8am. Does this mean we need to jog/run to CP in order to get there on time?
Or does CP take the admittance into the park timeinto consideration?

You'll be fine. We had the same time and we stopped to let a CM take our picture on Main Street and we took a few more. Everybody with the 8:05 PS is in the same boat so I think they know it will take everyone a few minutes to get down there.

When we went to the PSB in March our PS was for 8:30 and we were not escorted. My DD and I had a great time being alone as we walked toward Norway snapping lots of picture.

I was wondering this too.

On Saturday 10/23 we have an 8:05am at CRT. This is not an EMH day for MK so I assume there won't be a mob of people waiting at the turnstiles to fight our way through. How early can we get in the park on non-EMH days?

On Sunday 10/24 we have an 8:05am at CP. This is an EMH day for MK. So....would we have to wait with the sea of other people waiting at the turnstiles or do we go somewhere special to be let in so we aren't delayed by the crowd since it sounds like no one gets in before 8am on EMH mornings.

Thanks!
Debbie

Regardless of whether it's an EMH day or not, the turnstiles don't open until AT LEAST 8AM. There has been a few times they haven't opened until after 8, though the latest I've ever personally encountered is 8:10AM. The restaurants are all aware that everyone must wait to get admitted before being able to make it to the restaurant. You'll most likely have to wait with everyone else on an EMH day to gain admittance, so don't worry. We had a PS at CP for 8:10, but arrived before the turnstiles opened. The turnstiles opened promptly at 8AM, and we proceeed directly to CP. There was such a backlog of people waiting in line for their PS, that we didn't even get checked in until 8:25. No problem, we were seated shortly after checking in.

Thanks for the info! :D

I thought maybe they'd have a turnstile that people with PSs could use so they wouldn't have to wait behind a bunch of people. But it makes sense that the restaurants expect people to be late for early PSs if they can't even get in the park until 8am.

Where exactly do you go to show a CM your PS number to get in at 8am? Thanks.

That's a good question! ;) Do you just tell one of the CMs manning the turnstiles? How about when you have a PS way before the park opens? I assume there is a CM(s) at the entrance to help you?

Thanks,
Debbie

We've had various things happen. One time we were required to have our PS number with us, another time our name was checked against a list of all PS's, and this past time we were just asked if we had a PS and let in. Be prepared to give your PS number, but lately it seems like you don't need it.

We had a PS for CRT, 8:30, and we arrived at 8:10 a.m. We just went thru the turnstiles, and we weren't even asked for a confirmation #. This surprised me, as anyone can walk in. The MK was empty and we got quite a few pictures down Main Street, and of the castle with no one around! There is a sign over the turnstiles for pople with breakfast PS's.

OK, that's what I was wondering. Thanks!

There were no signs last week. I think they've done away with that, I do remember it from last summer though. There's just a CM directing people now.

Yes, last week there were no signs, just CMs. I had an 8:05 PS for CP and there was a group of about 30 people waiting in the "breakfast line" to get in at 8:00. It was the first time in years that nobody asked us our PS numbers or names.

I could have swore I saw a sign, maybe the week of no sleep was getting to me??? I thought it said Breakfast PS's entry?

For Crystal Palace - 8:05 a.m. PS

Since all patrons would need a PS at this time, they don't overbook do they? I understand some flexibility in the time, but I'm nervous we wouldn't get seated till 8:30 or so. The main reason we're doing this breakfast is for the early entry. We're off site and I wanted to avoid the cattle shute at the TTC center like last time. With the breakfast, we'll already be inside.

Unless you plan on arriving at the turnstiles at 7:30AM and being the first in line, you won't get seated much before 8:15. They don't open the turnstiles until AT LEAST 8AM, sometimes they are a little late. We've been there and the turnstiles once opened at 8:10. Once you make your way through (they usually only have about 4 turnstiles for breakfast PS's) you make your way down Mainstreet, unless you were one of the first through and basically RAN to CP, you'll find yourself behind a rather lengthly line to check-in. We had an 8:10PS two weeks ago, and made it through the turnstiles quickly, but when we arrived at CP, the check-in line was the length of the porch. I got to CP at around 8:10 or so, and we were checked in and seated around 8:25. The buffet is VERY crowded during that hour, since everyone else is getting seated, and it takes a while to traverse the lines. We were finished and out in the parks around 9:15 or so, we headed straight into Adventureland and rode Aladdin's Magic carpet ride three times in a row without having to get off. And then we headed up to Splash Moutain, where DD and I basically walked on. DH used a baby swap pass and was one of the first in the fast pass line, and walked on as well.

Thanks - I'll need not worry then. We planned on getting to TTC about 7:30 am, which I guess will be fine.
