Here's our plan for MK, let me know your thoughts. Both times we've taken the kids to MK, we never end up making it to Frontierland, we're always beat, so we're starting on that side of the park this time and hoping to stay until the fireworks. Is this too much? We're also a go with the flow kind of group, so if the lines are too long, we're skip, especially the Tomorrowland rides.

Rope Drop Adventureland
Pirates of the Caribbean
Aladdin's Magic Carpet
Jungle Cruise (if time)

Big Thunder Railroad 10:45-11:45
Shooting Gallery

Sleepy Hollow for a Nutella Waffle Sandwich Snack
The Haunted Mansion 12:35-1:35
Muppet's History Show

Lunch

Parade @ 3 (where should we watch from? Without backtracking too much)

Barnstormer 5:45- 6:45
Dumbo
Tea Cups
Little Mermaid Ride

Buzz Space Ranger Spin
Carousel of Progress
People Mover
Astro Orbiter

Main Street Shoppes and find a place to watch the fireworks

Are you not wanting to do 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, or Splash Mountain?

you should trade the Barnstormer FP for Buzz if possible.

You can watch the parade near the Hall of Presidents.

I love starting in Adventureland.

I think Splash will be closed for refurbishment when we're there. Our youngest isn't tall enough for Space Mountain, if we get over there and the lines are terrible the hubby and older two might give it a shot. Same with 7 Dwarfs, I'm not dying to do it, if it works out and there isn't a terrible wait, otherwise we'll skip it.

Ok, great, I'll find a spot near the Hall of Presidents for the parade.

Is Barnstormer not a long wait? We haven't been since 2012, the new fantasyland stuff wasn't opened on our last time. We have done Buzz before, and debated, because I think there was a FP for Buzz. Also, do I have to cancel a FP to see what is available? I couldn't figure out how to look without cancelling one of the ones we already had.

You can click Modify on your Barnstormer FP and it will show you other options that are available. You won't lose anything until you confirm changes. Buzz FP will save you a lot more time.

Would you keep it 5:45-6:45 or should I got 6:25-7:25 for Buzz? And there are 5 of us, do you think it takes away from it having someone ride alone?

Or, do you think once we use our Big Thunder FP in the morning, I could get another one for Buzz? You can do that, right? Add a 4th once you use one?

No, you would need to scan for your 3rd FP to get a 4th and so on.

here are the times for the Mupit show ( as of January 2 of this year)

You should have no problem getting Pirates, Magic Carpet, and Jungle cruise done before your first FP time.
However I would switch the order and do Jungle, Carpet, Pirates.
My reasoning is two fold:
1) Jungle tends to get longer lines quicker. If you knock that out first you will still have low crowds for the other 2 rides.
2) If you do Pirates, Carpet, Jungle then you're heading more toward the back of the park to begin with, then coming more towards the front, and then going back for your FP for BTMR. By doing the rides in the order I am suggesting you will be doing them in order without a lot of extra walking.

Personally, I would stack my fastapasses earlier in the day and take advantage of the 4th + same day booking once those 3 are used up because just about everything on your list later in the day should have same day availability. I would either go with a 9:45 - 10:45 Jungle Cruise or Pirates. If you don't want to "waste" a FP that early in the morning, then I would opt for the 3rd one to be a 3:00 - 4:00ish time and hit something right after the parade. Of the rides you have listed, I would get Buzz at that time and then complete Tomorrowland & Fantasyland taking advantage of the additional FP availability.

What you have on your list is very doable for a full MK day and you will likely have a fair chunk of down time to either fit in some more things or just relax and take an easier pace. It's really just playing around with the fastpasses a bit to minimize your time standing in line.

It sounds like a long day for a 5 year old. Not sure I would RD if you want to stay for fireworks.

What are your plans for dinner?

Thank you so much!! This is great info!

We’re taking the stroller, so I’m hoping he naps some or at least rides in it to save his energy.

Dinner, we’ll just wing it. CS or snacks. I plan on bringing food with us for lunch and plenty of snacks.
