MK photo shoot question...please help

How long after your MK photo shoot did you get your album back? We did both that and a honeymoon shoot and haven't heard hide nor hair from Disney photography and it's been a month. Am I just being too impatient?

I think the difference between the $1000 and $1200 MK packages are the size of the prints that you get. I´m on my vacation at the moment (in Iceland!) so can´t chack my literature but I think the sizes are something like 6x4 and 8x10.

Not sure how they do it now, but they did put them up on the website shortly afterwards. It was about 3 weeks or so. Then I got them in the mail just shortly after that. Maybe send them an email. I would have thought you would here something by now.

Has anyone heard when the new price for the MK photo shoot is going into affect? I just now was looking at my wishbook at disneyweddings.com before I saw this thread and the photo shoot is currently priced at $800. It looks SO beautiful from everyone's pictures and would love it but def. couldn't do it for any more expensive than that. :sad2:

Also, do you just get 20-30 pics printed out and there are more pictures than that say if you got the CD, or is that all they take?

Sorry to ask so many questions! I feel kind of silly asking questions before I even have a for sure date set but everyone's excitement is contagious! ;)

Unfortunately, the prices are in effect now. We signed our contract back in April or May (I forget exactly when) assuming the price for the MK PS would be $800 once we started ordering the elements, since that's what the website says both in the general area and in the wish book. Imagine my surprise (and not in a good way!) when we got the pdfs from photo with the new pricing.

From what I've seen here on the boards, what happens with your pricing from there will depend a lot on your planner. With our planner, they held to the new pricing basically. Eventually, we did work out a deal to get $200 off, putting the price back to the $800, but it means we are getting NOTHING else (we are trading our photography for the $200, so we won't get a honeymoon shoot as a tradeoff either). And even then, the only reason they did it is because we signed our contract basically right at the time that they changed the prices over. And we complained A LOT!

I really can't believe that after all that, they STILL haven't changed the prices on the web site!

I'm wondering why in the heck the photographer told me we'd be getting over 100 pictures, if it's really only 20-30 :confused3

Either way it's still worth it, we were just counting on having a lot more based on what he said.

We are using Disney for the ceremony though so I'm assuming he included those in the total count.

I would send your coordinator an email. The pictures should at least be online by now. When ours was done, it took 10 business days for them to be put on line, and it was about 3 weeks to get the album.

Thanks for the heads up, hmgolden and dreams91. Our pictures were online two weeks after we took the pics (and I was sooo pleased with them!) but I haven't gotten the album itself yet, nor any commication from them on when to expect them.

As suggested, I'll drop my coordinator a line. Thanks again!

When I booked our shoots with Rosie I specifically asked about the time frame and she told me "about 4-6 weeks." So you should be getting them anytime. Keep in mind though, that this is one of the busiest times of year for them ! Have you posted your link to the Disney pictures yet ? I haven't seen those yet !

Yeah, they're on page 5 of my trip report. I would copy and paste it here, but...let's face it, I'm lazy. :lmao:

Both our bridal portrait (MK) and our honeymoon shoot (Epcot) were posted online a few weeks ago. Now I'm just nervous/anticipating the albums; I'm curious to see if my favorites match theirs -- I'm going to order the ones in the "my favorites" section regardless 'cause they're just so darn cute! :cutie:

I think that mine was an unusual expierence with the MK photo shoot album. I did not get mine until after 3 and a half months passed after our wedding. They sent me my photos then after that they sent me the proof book 1 week later. I am not sure how long it usually takes but stay on Disney photography. I went around and around with them for 2 weeks straight until someone finally realized that I did not get my pictures.
