MK parking lot safety, 2am after e-nite?

I want to do a Wednesday e-nite this month on a solo trip. Due to a convention I'm attending, I will have checked out of my DD hotel that day, and will have checked into my I-Drive hotel by the time the evening begins. Essentially, driving to the e-nite is pretty much my only viable option.

The e-nite ends at 2 am. I've never had to go to the MK parking lot after an e-nite, let alone one that ends at that hour. Can anyone who has done it give me an opinion of the safety of the MK parking lot for a woman alone under these circumstances?

I don't know about the safety, but I'm pretty sure they don't run the trams. So you might have a pretty long walk to your car.

You should ask Chip and Dale. He's a former bus driver and a very good source of transportation issues. I see him on the resorts brd and transportation brd.

last year we went to a very rainy e-night and by the time we left we were pretty much the only people left. There were no trms running and out car was parked pretty far. There was a CM van which picked us up and dropped us off right next to our car. They CMs said that no one ever got stranded at Disney and no matter how late ou get out, someone will be there to help you to your car.

Can you park your car at the Downtown Disney hotel and take Disney transportation to it? We have done an e-night the day we checked out of our on-site hotel and have always left our car at the resort.

Last time I did an e-night it was me and 2 kids 8 & 9. There were no trams running but they did run vans and they took you right to your car door so I thought that was really a nice feature. I was a bit worried about the kids being to tired to walk but it worked out well getting a ride right to our car.

A few years ago, our family of 5 had to walk to the parking lot to find our car. There was no van, and we were told there would be one later! What a mess. I wonder if the busses run if you are staying onsite?

Yes, the buses run if you are staying onsite. We were at Ft Wilderness last year, and the boat from the MK wasn't running after e-night, but we took a bus from the TTc back to Ft Wilderness. We were just at the June 4 e-night, which ended at midnight, and the parking lot trams were running when we got out of the park (about 12:25). Our car was the only one left in our section of the lot. There were only 4 or 5 groups of people on our tram. It would have been a LONG walk out to our car.
