MK parking booths before closing

Hello all,

A few times I've been into Epcot and HS with 1-2 hours left in the park day and found the parking entrance booths empty and you just drive through. Does MK do this? If I'm arriving at 9pm for an 11pm closing, can I expect to just direct myself and park close to the front?

Yes. I think 2 lanes have the green light and they are empty and no parking cast members in the lots.
