MK park hours for Presidents Day-Winter Break-8pm??

Is it typical for MK to be open from only 9a-8pm the week of Presidents Day? That's a pretty heavy winter break time frame for vacations. We've been to WDW many times over Presidents week and usually the hours are at least until 10p, some nights until 11pm or 12am. Do they usually update them closer to when people book FP? It just kind of threw me for a loop since we are able to book our dining now and I was looking at park hours.

Odds are they'll be updated closer to the date. They were until 10 last year with one EMH evening.

I would not count on them updating until AFTER the 60 day FP window. Disney seems to be holding back those extensions of hours until everyone in the 60 window makes their plans. I don't now if that is because it allows them to see how many people are planning to be in a specific park, or whether it's an olive branch to those that are stuck with the 30 FP window. Either way, I think it's an unfortunate approach that negatively impacts those that are staying onsite.

Yeah that is unfortunate. I get it, but kind of defeats the purpose of the staying on site perk.

Park hours are usually updated around the 15th-17th of the month prior. For February hours, I would be watching for changed mid-January. They have been doing this for quite a while now.

Way too far out for hours to be updated. You're just seeing placeholder hours essentially. I wouldn't count on Feb hours to be fully updated until about December at the earliest
