MK park hour change after 60 day FP+

Just logged into MDE and was looking at our fast passes and tweaking a few things for the week before Christmas. I was gonna change one and was shocked to see a 8AM 7DMT available when I certain on fastpass day the park opened at 9 AM. I obviously took it so now my fourth fastpass opens at/around 11AM. Does this normally happen this late?

I checked the park hours schedule and it now said that on the Christmas party days (It appears to be the entire month of December on MVMCP party days) MK now opens at 8AM and EMH morning has moved to 7AM in case anyone else needs or wants to make changes.

Yes - this happens frequently. The 8 am openings for mid-December were made late yesterday. A number of us (including me) have been getting earlier 7DMT times - see this thread: https://www.disboards.com/threads/how-are-december-fast-passes-going.3638582/. Glad you were able to take advantage of it as well.

It's likely MK's evening hours for nonparty nights will be extended during that time, too (if they follow past years). Keep watching.

Thanks we don’t go this late in December usually but my kidddos school last day of school this year is 12/15 so we said why not?

Often times the hours will be updated between 2 and 4 weeks out.

Yep, I'm keeping an eye out for our non party MK and Animal Kingdom days. Hoping they both move to 8am

Yep, park hours at MK were changed/announced today.
Other hours were announced a week or 2 back.
They are even known to extend park hours that day.
Consider park hours in pencil until a park closes.
