MK opening time on Christmas eve 2015

Currently MK is listed to open at 9 a.m. but last year it opened at 8 a.m., so I'm assuming at some point it will change and be open at 9 a.m. this December. If MK opens at 8 a.m., is that considered an EMH? If so, than that time period between 8 a.m.-9 a.m. will have only the EMH rides open? Or do they just decide to open the parks at 8:00 vs. 9:00 and all the rides are open at 8:00?

Opening time will be changed to 8AM.
Regular Hours... not EMH.
EMH will be at 7AM.

These changes will not usually appear on the calendar until about a month in advance.

I've seen that some people posted that they were at the park until 3am. When do they post those times. TIA - I'm trying to plan our groups breaks and meals around the closing times as they are not morning people for RD.

Calendar updates happen for every single month of every year.

They can happen at least once, sometimes more, and often happen between 15-60 days in advance of the actual dates.

Just keep checking and rechecking the calendar as your dates approach.
It will show when they extend the hours at the parks.
The calendar will also list which nights are PM EMH nights.

You'll find out in advance which nights will be open the latest.

That will be great if MK opens at 8:00 on Christmas Eve! I thought it was 9:00! This will be our first Christmas trip!

We go every other Christmas and from memory, Christmas week (25-31) they opened MK at 7am for on property guests. I guess I am not sure when they announce it, only that it seems to be that way. We will be there again this year, so I hope nothing changes.

Expect an 7AM Extra Magic Hour (with a 8AM regular-hours opening) on some of the days that you listed.

Only after the 8AM regular hours opening time. (Not during AM EMH.)

7AM is EMH. No FP during EMH.
Breakfast ADR would not get you in early as park opens at 8AM.

FP starts at 8AM those days.
