MK opening at 8AM twice in Sept?

We are heading to MK on 09/15 and I noticed an 8am opening. When I checked the rest of the month only 09/01 also had an 8am opening. Anyone have any insight why it’s just these two days? They are both party days but most other party days the opening time is 9.

They tend to do this on Party days to give the day-only guests more time in the park with the 6 PM closure. The August Party days have been the same so far.

Many party days will have an 8AM opening but it appears not always. It’s best to just keep watching as hours can change. It’s not possible for us to know why Disney sets its hours the way they do, just best to monitor your dates.
