Am I wrong or didn't MK used to open at 8AM. We are going in a hand full of days (YEA!) at the Peak Peak season of Spring Break and Easter week(Boooo!) and MK doesn't open until 9AM. I'm surprised they aren't opening earlier. With a 9:00 opening, it will be harder to beat most people to the park. Think there is any chance they will change plans and open earlier?

I think opening hours vary somewhat depending on crowds.

They could open a little before 'regular' opening times based on heavier than expected crowds. But with the EMH in place now, that would be your best bet. The park opens an hour earlier. Check out which days MK has them. Disney has also pretty much done away with the E-Nights and replaced them with EMH in the evenings. You can stay in the parks an extra 3 hrs after park closing. The EMH, both morning and evening, are good only for on-site guests.

Not sure where you got your info but starting March 20th the MK opens at 8am for regular guests and at 7am for all guest on site. Look on the official Disney website under calender and the info is there and then click on early morning hours and you will find the 7am info..

Gasp!!! THANK you. I was checking the hours on Allearsnet I think. 7AM sounds Perfect since we have VERY early risers who can not stay up late. Plus, before they updated the hours, we would not be there during any MK EMH. I so happy!
