Hi everyone! I am so excited to be planning our first trip for March 07! Thanks in advance for your help! We arrive in Orlando on a Sunday. Monday is our son's 9th b'day. I want to make it special so thought about going for the character dinner at LTT. He likes ham, turkey etc! Are Mondays at MK generally okay? I apologize if this is a dumb question. I just thought that some of you experience folks would know what the crowd trends are like! :confused3 I will have a ton of questions yet I am sure!

Mondays are generally good.

GO EARLY. Be there at the gates 25-30 minutes before opening time.

The reason is "generally" Sunday night is evening EMH at MK and many resort guests won't be back that next morning.

Don't know this for sure yet as the hours for next March are months from being posted.

But Mondays should be OK in March regardless.

BTW, we think Liberty Tree Tavern meals are delicious.
Another spot that serves this kind of food is over in Epcot at the Land's "Garden Grill" (also a character meal).

Actually, Monday's are the most busiest day of the week at MK. Your best bet would be a Saturday or a Tuesday.
And March '07 doesn't look very good as far as crowds go.

I normally don't argue with other's advice, but this is just a bit too hard to let go...

SATURDAYS??

No, not Saturdays. That's the day that Spectromagic AND Wishes are shown and the Fl. locals tend to congregate.

And, for the reason about the Sunday night EMH, makes Mondays a good bet.

Hey, I actually agree with you, the logic doesn't make sense. I'm just going with the folks who've been collecting the data for the past decade or so.

I was always under the impression that MK is more crowded on Mondays. I believe that is what Birnbuam's book says, and I have witnessed it myself in the past.

We did a Monday morning in early March of 2005 and the park was PACKED!

I would definitely pick another park for that day. How about a character breakfast a OHANA at the Poly and then on to Epcot or MGM? We did Ohana for my daughter's B-day this year and really had a good time. I'd recommend you take a late PS because then you'll get some extra special time with the characters. Mickey, Goofy, Stitch, Pluto and Lilo were all great!

Have fun!

Personally I would wait until the march 07 park hours are out and the EMH days until deciding on whether Monday is a good day for MK. Most info you will find will say avoid it if it is an EMH day. There are several different web sites that can reliably identify better and worse days to hit particular parks during your stay. good luck!

We were thinking of going to MK also for our first day. For my two children, this is their first trip. How can you NOT go to MK on your first day for your first trip? My daughter is expecting to just see the castle. We are going the first week of August and I know it will be packed, but I feel I just have to take them to the MK. Any thoughts?

We are just soooo excited!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:
