MK November 7th or 11th?

Hi all. Any thoughts on which date would be better for our MK day. We will have one full day and MVMCP. I know those dates will be busier in general as non-party days, but we want to see HEA. The 7th is a Wednesday (the day before parties start). The 11th is a Sunday. (That Saturday should have evening EMH and Monday is Veteran's Day.) Do you think there will be a noticeable difference between those 2 dates? Thanks!

ETA: No matter date we go, we will be going to the HEA dessert party.

I'm trying to figure out what night might be best to watch HEA as well, so hard planning with so many party nights. lol I'm there around the same time as you, from the 8-17 and our party night is the 13th but really want to catch HEA as well. Hopefully someone will have some insight. lol

I'd say Wednesday. Since the first party is the 8th, you're coming off of a number of days where HEA was every night so many at the parks will have had chances to see it. The weekend shows will be packed with those who couldn't see it the first two party nights and there for the long weekend only. I was there last year that weekend and went on a non-party night and I've never seen crowds that packed in 20 years of going (but to be fair - I haven't been over X-mas). A full hour before the hub was basically completely shoulder to shoulder. Just make your plans based on what works best and figure at least an hour before for a semi-decent spot and expect many others to get in your way over that hour. I expect both days to be fairly crowded.

We booked a dessert party on the 11th to try to make it a bit easier this year.

Thank you for your response. Besides being helpful, it made me realize I left out am important detail. No matter which day I go, I will do the HEA dessert party. I was more wondering about the rest of the day and if I should expect a big difference.

My gut says Wednesday will be slightly less bonkers. Most of the holiday weekend people probably won't come in until Thursday night or Friday.

I would pick Wednesday as well. Weekends are usually busier with people just arriving and locals coming to the parks.
