So a friend just texted and will be at Disney over Christmas/New Years. Staying off-site with a large family group. Most of them haven't been to Disney in years. Truthfully, I'm a little worried for them! lol
One of the questions she was wanting to know is how early do they need to find a decent spot for New Year's Eve fireworks in the MK? I would like to give her realistic expectations if they want a spot in the hub and then I would like to give her a backup plan of somewhere else in MK that might be good and they wouldn't have to stake out a spot as early.
Doing a quick search, I saw somewhere where they say the hub is immovable after 4pm? Is this accurate with others experiences? Someone else suggested the bridge to Frontierland. There will be 4-6 smaller kids in the group so I don't see camping out from 4pm on as a viable option for them. I'm supposed to call her in about an hour and I will try to find out more info as for as which days they plan on which parks to see if MK on the 30th might be an option for them. But any other help will be appreciated! I'm good at navigating parks, but haven't ever been in the Christmas/New Years mob!
