MK Moonlight Magic Phone Bookings

Jan 11. I honestly don't think that they really sent the emails - I think the cast members were led to believe they were sent, but for some reason they just weren't. I would call and see if you can get it.

I missed the first day to book (was in the world, didn't see email). They refused to let me book before the general window opened unless i booked a cash reservation:rolleyes1as no studio DVC rooms open for my dates. We are booked onsite via CRO.

Anyway, when they opened the Jan 11th date to all, i had my email confirmation immediately.

Was told you don't really need it, they will be able to access via your ID & DVC card/number at the gates.

Sorta makes me nervous that if that is true it will really back up the lines to enter. Hoping they have a line solely for those with confirmations in hand. Bringing one of my DS who doesn't have an admission ticket, otherwise I'd plan on being inside prior.
 
For the last two I have done when you check in you show your DVC members card and they pull it up on their tablets and give you wrist bands.
 
My experience..I went the route of online chat this morning.. I explained I had been RSVP’d over the phone due to all the technical problems on 12/7. I was told to wait while he checked in to it. He then told me he could confirm that I am indeed RSVP’d for the Jan 11th event. Also said the emails have been delayed but should be sent out in about 7 days. Sure...
It did make me feel better, but I’d really like some solid proof.

Just received my confirmation email!!! Yay! I feel so much better having a solid confirmation. Hopefully everyone else gets theirs soon also!

Yes!!!!! Got ours as well. I like to always have written confirmation for these type of things.
 

If you phoned in your reservation and a CM confirms it's in the system and you never get a confirmation email, do you still go to check in for the event? How will they confirm you are registered? Never been to any of these events before and was wondering what the process is. Thanks in advance!

They have your name and registration info when you check in. You provide your DVC card and ID.
 
I still haven't received mine... so worried... I'll call (again) when they open tomorrow morning.
 
We got ours too! I noticed it doesn't mention the number of guests but they took that info originally so I'm not worried. So happy to see the email come through!
 
I just got off an hour long phone call with DVC... Whew! But, the good news is, I got the email at the end!! Whoop! So glad to be going! He told me that they were waiting for the event to "sell out" before they sent the confirmation emails... hmmm.... Don't know if that's true, seems a bit unlikely, but who knows.. I did get a reservation number.

He said the party on Feb 6th had not "sold out" as of last night.

I am curious to why they aren't sold out.

Is it because they did 3?

Is it because the MK ones were announced so close to the actual dates that many couldn't change plans?

Did they increase capacity for them?

Last year's MK events didn't sell out until several days (might have been several weeks, don't remember exactly) after registration opened for those staying off site. The MK can hold many more guests than the other events. Last year, there was no restriction on the number of events you could attend. This year you can only attend one per park. Last year there were two MK events. This year there are 3 for the MK.
 
I wish I had gotten a "resent" email... I'm still waiting... I really want to call back and not wait the week..
Just send them an email, I hadn't received my email so I sent then a query and they resent, no waiting on hold. :)

It was a few weeks for all the events up until the Epcot ones which is what made those so strange.
 
I hope they give us a clue what the food offerings will be. Our AK event in Sept had hot dogs and ice cream, but I heard other parks only had desserts for their events (or was that 2016 that did only dessert?). If I can save a few $$ having my husband eat a lighter dinner that would be great (I'm a vegetarian so I will eat beforehand. I saw some events listed that you could ask for a vegetarian substitute, but things were so chaotic in Sept with 4 tired kids that I wasn't waiting to find out if that was true at our event).

True but registration has been open for awhile now for both. Maybe just maybe there will be a few less people at next weeks!
