Our first trip to WDW. I have been told to save MK for last because if we go there first our 4yo DS will be disapointed with the rest of the park.
Any other advise or tips would be welcomed. We will also have our 11 mo DS with us

If you'll only be visiting the park once, I would say yes, visit it last.
But if you are planning on multiple visits to MK, I'd go first!!!!!!

That's just me though... many prefer to do it last.

We like to START and END our trips at the MK -- we think of it as a great way to start our vacation and saying goodbye to the MK on our way out. princess:

We also do the MK first and last. To us MK is Disney at it's best.

oh we always start off the MK and also end at MK its our tradition. its funny how we never change habits. lol. we get in late afternoon, so we usually eat, swim and go to down town the first night. we dont stay out late the first night.

We are doing the same as the above posters. Start with MK on our first full day and end on MK on our last day. :)

I also vote to start and end with MK. DH was actually making fun of me because I plan the trip dates to coincide with "good" days to visit MK--beginning and end, lol.

Small children think Disney is the Magic Kindgom, so if you wait they will wonder when you are going to Disney. With kids your ages, start with the MK and you'll want to do it again.

There are guides directed directly for children so they can find something of interest at each park so there is something to forward to.

But I love to start at the MK and end (like a lot of the other posters) - it just sets me in the magical mood.

One trip our flight was delayed so our plan of a 6pm dinner at chef mickeys and a monorail trip to wet our appetites wasn't feasible (we arrive at 8pm) - so I left DH & DS by the all sports pool and went for that monorail trip by myself!!

I agree with other posters- do MK first. IMO, it doesn't seem like the trip has really started 'til we are walking down Main Street toward the Castle!::yes::

We're going in July. I've already planned to start with MK and end with MK. Even if you can't schedule two days in the same park you could skip things in the other parks and use hoppers to make it happen. It will be worth it.

We have 5 day park hopper passes so this sounds wonderful. The last thing I want is to fight with grumpy children during this magical time. MK on the first and last days sounds great. Who say we can't go on other day in between if we want to.

Thanks:bounce:

Another vote for MK first & last! We also save Epcot for close to the end of the week. By that time the kids hunger for thrill & magic has been satiated & they're ready for something more low key (and educational). We heard no complaints about "being bored" at Epcot - they enjoyed the countries & the front exhibits.
