MK: June hours vs July Hours

MK seems to be open until 11pm quite often in June but only until 10pm in July (except for the July 4th weekend). Is there a reason for this (ie. is Disney expecting bigger crowds in June) or do you think they'll eventually extend the July hours? If you do think they'll extend them, when do they usually do it? I was hoping it would be soon and not while we're there. Any ideas/predictions?

I was wondering the same thing. We're going in mid-July.

Depending on actual crowd level in July, they will probably extend more nights to 11:00pm. The initial times are based on historical data and projrected occupancy levels.

The original hours posted for June had earlier closing times when they were first released. The hours were expanded to include some 11pm closing times toward the end of May. Look for the hours to be revised for July at the end of June...I think your chances are good because attendance has been up!

"hours subject to change". This is a true statement and as your dates get closer the summer hours do often change. However with longer hours that often means BIGGER crowds. Not sure it makes any difference at that point. We went last mid-July and MK was packed at 11:00PM, to the point you could barely get down main street. Also was an E-ticket night that began at 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM and was sold out (I know it was sold out because we considered doing it but was waiting to see if it was going to rain all night, once we decided we went to townhall and was told it was sold out). We are going the same time again (only for the grandson's sake) and expect huge, maybe bigger than last year crowds since attendance is WAY up compared to last year.
