MK in Oct.

My family and I are going to WDW the first week of Oct. I had planned on visiting MK on the Friday but it closes at 6 and I would like to be able to stay later after taking a break mid day, if my children are up for it (2yrs. and 4yrs) so I thought the Thursday would be good since it is open until 8:30 but that is an Early Magic Hour day so I am wondering how bad the crowds will be that day? We are staying offsite so won't be using the EMH. Thanks for any help you can give

I would not go to EMH park if you could not use EMH.The EMH park tend to become crowded early and stayed crowded for the day.MK is the one that this most often happens in also.That said if crowds are light during your visit your plan would work great.Have a great vacation and say hi to Mickey for me.
