MK hours the week of Easter, will they open at 7am?

I'm getting ready to make FP+ ressies for the week of Easter. We will be at MK on Easter Sunday and then again on Thursday when my son's band plays. I see that they have am EMH so will open at 8am. I thought I saw on here somewhere where someone said that last year they had am EMH that opened at 7. Is this true did they open at 7? I'm just wondering if I should make my FP+ for a little later in case we can enter at 7.

We did the 7am EMH at MK two years ago during Easter week. It was freezing that year and temps were in the 30's when we left our resort. The moon was still out over Cinderella Castle when we arrived---but it was worth it!!!

If they offer this EMH, DO IT! The park was really empty and without fastpasses (no FP+ then) we had accomplished all the following by 10:30 am:

Enchanted Tales with Belle
Buzz Lightyear TWICE
Splash Mountain TWICE (without having to get off and get back in line)
Space Mountain
Pirates of the Caribbean
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Ariel's Grotto

We had time for a sit down snack and even had Gaston's all to ourselves and got great pictures in the room with all the antlers and sitting in his chair.

By 1pm the park had a Phase 1 closure and you couldn't even move in Fantasyland. There were CMs directing "traffic" with ropes down the center of the area around It's a Small World and Peter Pan. You could only go in one direction on each side of that rope and it was S-L-O-W moving!

If they offer an early EMH, fight the urge to stay in bed. Get up and go! You won't regret it!

Awesome! How early did you leave your resort and when did you arrive at MK? We will also be there spring break. I've got plans to leave the parks by noonish for a break so would be nice to get another hour in the am. Your experience with 1pm makes me anxious just imagining it!
