MK hours/parade cut week of March 16

I just checked on the Disney site and noticed the MK hours have been cut an hour on 3/17 and 3/21, and the Spectromagic shows have also been cancelled.

I don't really mind missing Spectromagic, but I was counting on that extra hour those 2 nights at the MK. I hope they haven't cancelled the e-night we were planning to go to on 3/18. Do you think it's too early to call Disney to check?

On the bright side, I guess they're not expecting heavy crowds!

We are arriving on the 17th and I'm hoping that the reason for the adjustment is due to less bookings.

I know We are going the 21st-25th but we get in late on the 21st so no parks that day. They did cut Spectromagic (MK) on Monday, the 24th when we planned to see it. Also, what is up with Futureworld (Epcot) closing at 6pm! on the 23rd-31st. I know some rides remain open, but 6pm is a cut from even the 7pm closing that started after 9-11.

That is early for Futureworld to close! I hadn't looked that far ahead because we're leaving the 22nd, but it's scheduled to close at 6 p.m. from March 23rd through April 11th!

Silly me--I thought this was "peak" season.

We are going that week too. They are cutting back in the restaurants too as well as the hours.
I cant imagine the crowds will be that light to close Futureworld at 6!

Also heard from a CM friend of mine that the shops at PI will be closed during the day and only open in the evening when PI is opened.

All I can say is those parks better be empty! We were in the world last year at Spring Break and at least in the parks, you couldn't tell there was a drop in tourism. MK was very, very crowded.

Great!!! Just great!!! now I have to reschedule AGAIN!!! Just found out yesterday that Blizzard Beach is closed for refurb till April sometime!!!
