MK/Fort Wilderness Boat Question

I would like to take the boat from MK to FW to attend the Hoop-de-Doo Musical Review. The show is at 5P and lasts 2 hours. If MK closes at 7P that night, will I be able to take the boat back to MK after the show? How long will the boat operate after MK closing?

not sure of the official answer, but i do know they are a little silly how they run the after hours transportation.

We went to the laui at the Poly one time and it was over just after the MK closed. We were staying at OKW so we figured easiest was to ride the monorail over to the MK and hop the bus back since transportation from the parks runs for an hour or more afte rclose. Well even though the monorail was still taking people home from the MK they refused to let us board it to go there. THey insisted we walk to the TTC and take the bus to DD than the bus from there to OKW. Yeah- thats just my idea of a good idea at bedtime with 3 toddlers. So we bailed and took a taxi. LAter on I realized I should have just lied and told the CM we were taking thmonorail to the contemp and hoped off at the MK- what would they do insist we get back on?

Moral is- they might just be so stupid as to do the same to you with the boats.

So if you are intending to go home to another disney resort- they might insist you take the bus to TTC than another to DD than a third to your resort. (might be a direct from FW to DD- but your still looking at 2 busses.)

The best answer is probably that there will be a sign near the docks telling how late the boats will run. I know that there have many cutbacks, so what was true a month ago might not be true now. Are you staying onsite? I know that a few of the resorts have special direct buses to a from the Hoop-dee-doo (of course this may have changed as well).
